I felt the same way when his first LP came out (OK, so I'm showing my age). I think it was the way he sang -- all sexy -- and the passion of the lyrics. He's definitely not much to look at.

Maybe you're not COMPLETELY a looks person then. You may be attracted to him overall because if you hear him on the radio, you probably get that same feeling as if you watched a video. People get attracted to an overall character and not just looks. Hey, maybe you found something out about yourself...and Meatloaf taught it to you...haha

That man has a very strong manner with his singing and personality and that is what obviously attracts you to him. I absolutely adore his music and I think he is the best artist ever. I agree, those who dont wanna answer seriously should butt out! LONG LIVE MEATLOAF.Also the words to many of his songs are so heartfelt that alot of us can relate to them, this also has an effect x
