What shall I wear?

I am going out around town (bars and a nightclub) on a saturday nite soon with my boyfriend and some of his friends but I don't know what to wear. (Its been a long time since ive been out like that for personal reasons) I just dont know what people wear these days although my bf says a short skirt lol typical man.
Does any1 have any suggestions what i can wear, bearing in mind im 25, in the UK (so a bit cold!) don't want to look tarty, but want to look sexy. Any help would be appreciated im useless!!

I forgot to add that some of the clubs don't let people wear jeans on certain nights.

Im a UK size 10/12 depending on the shop, brunette and 5'3" short lol

To dreemy: no i don't want to attract anyone i have a bf but i still want to look nice when i go out. Don't want to show him up lol

I live in the Uk too and go out most weekend so im pretty clued up on whats the right thing to wear!!

A skirt would loook nice but I do agree its very cold some nights at the moment. You could wear it with see through skin coloured tights (you know the type I mean right) and some boots. Ive done that lately and I wasnt cold.

I think either wear a short skirt, boots and a halter neck style top. Or go for the classic black trousers and a nice dressy top. I dont know your shape or size or colouring so its hard to give exact details.

If you want a new top - id head on down to new look they have some nice things in at the moment and are always cheap perfect for a night out!

I would go for straight-cut, dark wash jeans that fit you nicely, and show off just enough curves (but nothing that shows off your booty crack).

Also, go for a nice jewel-tones silky top that makes your eyes pop, but isn't too revealing. Yes, the short mini skirts are in right now, but rarely look good on people, and that look really isn't mature or classy at all. A shirt this style is sexy, but classy:

I'm not fond of that pattern, but I bought a shirt that style in a rich purple color, and wear it out to bars all the time, and I get so many compliments on it.

For shoes, you can't go wrong with pointy-toed black pumps. They will keep you warmer than a strappy sandal, and they're so sexy and classy all at the same time.

Is it because of you want to attract them? You can be nicer or cuter than be a sexy. You dont know wether they like you in that cloth(sexy) or not. I suggest you wear a long sleeve t-shirt and a long skirt or jeans. That can make you warmer
