Questioning your own sanity would mean you are perfectly sane.

Well, without getting into too much detail, chances are if you're able to question your own sanity, you're sane. Then again, what is sanity really? Many will claim that insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results, and by that definition, I'd consider about 99.99% of the world's population insane.

If you consider sanity to be a firm grasp of the reality of the world that surrounds you and your connection to it, then again I'd consider about 99.99% of the world to be insane.

Why you might ask? Well I don't want to hijack this, but it's got a little something to do with our species' destructive nature and inclination to rape pillage and plunder everything in our path even if it means we're bringing about our own demise. Yeah, I'd call that insane, but hey what do I know?

So now many would probably argue that thinking everybody else in the world in insane but you, the common "only sane person in this insane world!" feeling that so many frustrated people get when they look at the world around them. That feeling is normal. That means you have a brain and aren't afraid to use it.

So are you sane? Are you insane? I guess it really boils down to this... what are you so worried about? We're all on the same boat, and if you can't see that, and still think you're out there doing your own thing, then yeah... I guess you're insane.

Sanity is an illusion of the insane mind.

Many people consider insanity a condition requiring hospitalization. The stigmatism surrounding mental health has changed drastically within the past two decades.

In my opinion, there is no such thing as being "insane". Research has shown there are various conditions that affect the mind of a person and treatments are now available for most illnesses. Illnesses are considered severe when a person becomes a danger to himself/ society or a patient does not respond to treatments available.

Sense you are questioning your own sanity I would see that as a red flag and get help. Only you know what things are going on in your mind. You may be very depressed, you may be bipolar, we can't diagnose you you will need to be see by a professional. You could be greatly helped by talking to a Therapist. It is quite possible that you could benefit from medications. You took a very important first step in coming here today! Good luck.
