depending on how expensive your pillows are, the cheaper ones should be replaced every four to six months. Take the pillow and bend it in half and if it doesnt spring back throw it away, or if it just too flat and comfortable for you to sleep on that is also a good hint lol

Chuck the old ones, or give them to the dog. You could even wash them in bleach and super hot water and reuse them or better yet, donate them.

Change them every 6 months. It's dead skin that gets into them, then you have dust mites in there. That is why old ladies who have pillows forever, the pillow is like a brick, it's so heavy!

Next time, get a pillow cover meant to keep out dust mites!

Don't know about how often to change one but the funnest way to get rid of a feather pillow is to hold it out the window of a car on the freeway and cut it open.

change your pillows like once or twice a year when they become flat and you can give the old ones to the homeless or use them as beds for your pets

They should be changed every six months or so because of those ugly dust mites that are crawling around in there. They are also allergy causing. Gotta get rid of the little buggers!

I never change my pillow. I just change the pillow case every week or so. Just put them in the wash with your towels.
