A bit iffy this one.Youre being signed to a label, yet you dont appear to have your act sorted out yet.

Baby there's no crime in microphones. I have to use one. When I play I like one for the guitar and voice. You should be able to get some help also with your voice if it's that much of a prob- for you -especially if you are about to get a record label.Shoot- You won't have to worry about any of this trivial stuff if you are getting signed!! Good Luck -and Congrats!! Don't forget all us little people when you become big!!!Oh and you can do what Twinned said too- that will help!!I forgot until I read his- that's true!!!

It may be that your voice isnt strong enough to sing loudly. Have you tried standing up to sing whilst playing? If you practise sing loudly without playing the guitars and breathe more deeply from the diaphragm and hear what your voice sounds like, then play the guitar after practising singing loudly it should work. The way you have to hunch over an acoustic may have something to do with it.

PLAY SOFTER! Try finger picking or not playing with a pick. I can't imagine a record company signing someone who asks a question like this unless you mean you want to get signed. If that's the case, join the party buddy, so is everyone else.
