Depends on how many people you are serving. For large group I would use dog, for small crowds that you like go with the cat.

D'you know, I would go with a kinkajou - they have a sweeter taste, less gamey. Cats and dogs tend to be very greasy (it's all that commercially prepared ground up livestock and other dead pets).
Not only are they endangered (which makes them a delicacy) but they look so darling with an apricot shoved up their (insert expletive here) just prior to roasting.
But if you want something gross, just take some local Chinese food with you. Blech!
