Right now, Im listening to Godsmack. Would that be considered metal?? Metallica is still one of my favorite bands (the old stuff.) and I also have Dio, Megadeth and other 80s metal downloaded. Im not much into the new stuff (Im 40) but I love my old metal.

I am 27 years old, and I have been true to metal since my brother brought home Master of Puppets in 1987. It was the heaviest thing I have ever heard.
In my teen years I was into power metal, but really into death metal: Deicide, Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse, Obituary, etc.
Now, I am mostly into melodic stuff and power metal: Maiden, Grim Reaper, Manowar, Rhapsody, Hammerfall, old In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Soilwork, Children of Bodom, old Cradle, Dimmu.

Metal is the greatest! I started out when I watched the movie triple x, and at the beginning they played "Friyier Frie" by Rammstein. My favorite bands include, Rammstein, Dew Scented, Sanity in Death, Behemoth, As I Lay Dying.

I've always loved rock.Now,in college,I still listen to it.My favorite bands are Within Temptation,Nightwish,Lake of Tears,Secretgarden,This Mortal Coil,Craddle of Filth,Nine Inch Nails,Velvet revolver and many more.I prefer dark metal ,goth and alternative.

oh yeah, i love metal!! some of my favorite bands include, Primus, Metal Church,Slayer, Ministry, The Red Chord, Nightwish, Ozzy Osbourne and Opeth(my favorite)

well i'm not really n2 death metal or nething like that but i love rock and alternative. but i totally agree w/ u about the teens being n2 rap pop and poser rock.... not exactly my cup of tea... it gets on my nerves a bit wen ppl just follow the crowd no questions asked... tho it also bugs me wen ppl TRY to go agianst the grain, to me thats just as bad.... oh geez now i'm bout to rant...
