Go and enjoy yourself! Stay away from drinking, smoking and drugs. Don't go near the mosh pits or any people that look like they could form one. :) Try not to battle your way up to the front. Just sit back and relax. I went to a Metallica concert with hubby when I was prego, lol.
Congrats on the pregnancy!! :)

It won't affect your pregnancy whatsoever but I personally would not subject my baby to a Westlife concert LOL

Seriously, I went to see Jay-Z when I was 10 weeks pregnant and apart from the fact I was really tired before then end of the gig and the next day I was fine. Don't worry but early pregnancy can make you feel strange at times so make sure you have a bottle of water to sip and take plenty of rests if you feel nauseous or light headed.

Enjoy the concert and congratulations on your pregnancy!

It will be fine! I went to a meatloaf concert when I was 4 weeks pregnant and had no problems at all - other than needing the loo all the time! As long as you're sensible and don't go up to the front of the crowd where you could get squashed (Ideally get a seat) or anthing like that. It goes without saying that you should avoid alcohol and such like but other than that - just have fun! Don't worry about it at all - you'll have a great time! Congrats by the way!

Have fun! Unlike previous posters, at 4 weeks the ears are not yet developed and functional so the baby cannot hear, therefore loud noises won't hurt it. Even when the baby can start to hear, going to concerts is perfectly fine and fun for you! There's no reason why your life needs to stop now that you're pregnant (of course stay away from alcohol, drugs, but you know all that). I'll be goign to a Decemberists concert in mid-April (I'll be about 6 1/2 months preggo at that point). My doctor assured me it would be just fine. Oh...and go ahead and jump if you want. You're not going to dislodge the embryo. Have fun!

Serious answer for you everything will be fine.
Just take care of yourself the way you would normally, keep safe, dont go rushing down the front into the crowds. Wear comfy clothes so you do not get to hot and end up feeling faint.
No drinking only plenty of water as you dont want to dehidrate in heat/excitement.
Eat before you go and dont eat any of the burger van type foods.
Other than that no problems you can go and enjoy your concert with no worries just take care of yourself the way you would normally.

It will do no harm, just try not to get smushed by too many people and inhale copious amounts of cig smoke. I went to about 8 concerts last summer when I was pregnant and had a blast at every one of them. DO GO...it may be awhile before you get to do that stuff again without worry. And as an aside, I think my little munchkin likes music more because he was exposed to so much in utero (although babies can't hear till you are in about your 6th month...so it isn't going to harm ear development or anything). And I was 29 and preggers, so don't let your age make your decision for you. :) have fun!

Should be perfectly safe, dancing is good exercise and a happy mum = a happy baby!
There is really no reason that you should have any problems, although be aware that...
* you may get more tired than usual
* take a bottle of water with you
*You may be more affected by the crowd eg, feel the heat more / feel dizzy from standing etc.
Have a good time!

Hey! I'm 21 too!!! And i'm 23 weeks pregnant. Going to see a concert will be fine. Just be cautious on how much you jump up and down, but enjoy yourself. Nothing will hurt your baby by going to a concert at 4 weeks. (Do all your fun stuff by yourself now, lol cause in 8 months you'll be taking care of a little one!)

Ask yourself this, would you have tested for pregnancy if you wasn't ttc? if no then Go, enjoy yourself, Most women dont discover pregnancy until they are at least a week or 2 late, they would go and wouldn't have a clue. Make sure you dont drink, smoke or eat anything you shouldn't and you'll be fine. Enjoy and congrats xxxx
