The day before my due date i had a bleed so i went to hospital and they did a scan which showed the placenta had started to come away and i was induced that day. I'd go and see your midwife just to be on the safe side and most of all to put your mind at rest so you can enjoy your last weeks of pregnancy.

Hi...I'm about 16 weeks pregnant with my 6th child. I have never experienced bleeding with any of my children, but it is normal for some women to have their periods while pregnant. Do you think that this is a possibility? Was it about the time you would normally have your monthly?
If the baby is still active and everything, I personally wouldn't be worried if it were me, HOWEVER I would DEFINITELY mention it to your doctor. If you're concerned about it, call them and mention it; they know your pregnancy best, and will be able to check to be sure everything is going well.
Hope this helps!

hi, i had a small bleed at around 30 weeks after sex, i went into hospital and found out that i had placenta abruption (where the placenta is tearing).you should have it checked out because if you do have this it will mean bed rest ,no sex, steroid injections to strenghthen baby's lungs just incase of early delivery etc... my baby was delivered at 35 weeks due to this.it could be nothing but get it checked as soon as you can just to make sure.

It's definitely worth mentioning to a doctor, even if you just ring a help line (NHS helpline if you're in the UK).
All bleeding in pregnancy should be reported, especially in the later months as it could be something to do with the placenta.

this ? to ask is: did you have any pain?
probably not, or thatwould have concerned you....
a few things to ponder...
it could be placenta palcement (previa ~~ where the placentia can be over the opening to the os (where the baby would normally exit) and since you are growing...it is stretching and weeping...have you had an ultrasound yet?
another things is that it could be a hemorrhoid of fissure (as moms get more constipated and their 'grapes of wrath' get bigger as the pregnancy evolves)
good luck!

Did you have sex that night? If so, you could have possibly bled a little from sex, and didn't realize cause it happened after you put on your PJ's and went to bed. Call your doctor just to be safe, but if the baby is still kicking, it's probably ok.

No, you could call your doctor, but as long as the baby is active i think it if fine.

Have you had any problems with piles? It could have been bleeding as a result of that, rather than vaginal bleeding.
