Depending on the sensitive-ness of your skin, it's probably ok to use regular body lotion, as long as its not scented. It's definitely better than not using anything. If you don't use any lotion, your skin is more likely to peel and get wrinkles at an early age. The lotion also gives you a healthier look :)

If you have absolutely nothing else-then yes it's better than nothing at all. Mst body lotions are too thick for the face. You really need a good facial lotion, one that is especially made for the face. I' t's usually trial and error on this too. But for me a lighter lotion is one I prefer. It is very, very light.
Phliosophy makes a great lotion for the face and body and they are all different. You have to find the best thing for you. These thicker lotions can clog pores and sometimes cause break-outs. Good Luck!

If you didn't have a reaction to it then it doesn't matter. Some people have extremely sensitive skin and have to be picky about which face cream they use (face creams be nature are more gentle than body lotion) so you are one of the lucky ones. If you ever apply a lotion to your face and it stings, makes red splotches, or causes break outs then change what you use. Also, as you get older and your skin texture changes you will probably want to use products designed specific for eyes, wrinkles, etc.

It depends on your skin. If you have sensitive skin regular body lotion may irritate it, cause it dry out, crack, break out or get really red all over or in certain spots. I used to do the same thing and my face would either break out really bad or dry out really bad. I would recommend using Dove facial lotion for sensitive skin, it's cheap it doesn't smell at all and it keeps my skin very soft and it doesn't dry out or break out since I started using it. But like I said if your skin can handle it don't worry about it, just make sure you pay attention to any changes the regular lotion may be causing. Good Luck!!

Is better for you to use them since lotions contains products that help to keep your skin hydrated, moisturized and overall protected against the sun.
As a note: is almost the same if you use a body lotion or a face lotion they both contains almost the same.

It's better then not using anything at all, but you should buy face lotion so you don't break out in ZITS! And when you put the lotion on make sure you rub down when applying so not to clog pores!

I'm not sure if I would say it was a bad thing by using body lotion for your face. As women we need more for our skin because our bodies are always changing. try to find a cleanser & moisturizer that will work for your skin type. Find what works best for you, drug stores or even consultants of a good skin care line,

it is better than using nothing at all
BUT
it would probably be better to use a different type of lotion...especially if your skin is sensative. i for instance have very sensitve skin and can't use regular lotion because it has fragrance and it is comedegenic (it clogs your pores). my advice would be to use plain old aveeno (no menthol or anything) or DML lotion. i prefer the DML lotion. you can find either in any drugstore.
hope this helps! best of luck!

I really can't see how there would be a difference, besides face lotion being gentler on your skin...
