I am, but when you think about it, its just a apart of the way God made us. so why are we so uncomfortable doing it in front of other peeps?

Americans seem to have a lower tolerance than other cultures, at least they are the most immature about it. It is a cultural reaction.

It stinks up the entire place. Its embarrassing to have to see the people in the room desperately trying to breathe and opening up the windows.

Because that is what society has taught us. I don't imagine that people in impoverished countries are too worried about this type of embarrassment, primarily because they have not been socialized to the "niceties" of polite society. They have other more important things to worry about.

Well there is the fact that in most cases it really reeks! I don't like smelling other peoples gas and i don't think they enjoy mine either. Although i am still of the firm belief that my gas smells like roses.

I just think we are all afraid that it will stink really bad. Nobody wants a nasty smell all up in them.
