If a criminal is not caught(major crimes such as murder, frauds, robbery, etc etc etc), will he feel guilty? As in, if he's not caught, will he always be looking over his shoulder? Will he lose his freedom? Or will he just be a normal man, a happier man, because he had accomplished his goals and is not caught?

Are there any strong psychological facts on this? Please do tell..

If the criminal is Asocial, having no conscience, he/she will feel no guilt. There are a lot of Asocial personalities in this world, and they are the scariest for me to realize. I have worked with some Asocial personalities, and they have no guilt, as they have no connection with other human beings.
someone who has normal ideas of right and wrong, will know he/she has done a 'wrong' thing, and may spend a life looking over that shoulder. The answer lies in whether or not the criminal realizes that what was done was actually 'wrong' to do.

Obviously. Any human who acts opposite to law and his conscience will never and can never be happy. He can feel proud of accomplishing his goal of doin crime, but each & every second is hell for him. He looses his freedom, dignity, etc..,
No one is born criminal, situation makes him so. There will be strong psychological effect on him for sure, but a bit hard to find out.

Depends on the person but most of the time if they do it once or twice with out getting caught they will do it again but the first time they do it with out getting caught they'll be looking over there shoulder every second
