Set goals and rewards for reaching those goals. Make the goals measurable (I will put away everything on my desk instead of just clean up the office) and same with the rewards (I will see a particular movie instead of just relax). I know, it sucks putting off the fun things, but I have learned that better to get chores out of the way than goof off and then have to cram.

Make a list in the morning of everything you have to do, rank those things, and permit yourself to put off one or two small things. Yesterday I had half a load of laundry I could do or two sinks of dirty dishes I had to do if I wanted to use a fork ever again; I did the dishes and will do laundry today. You can also make a chore schedule for the week: instead of doing all your chores saturday, blowing the entire day, clean the bathroom one day, bedroom the next day, bills and contacts another, etc.

When all else fails, tell a friend your plans and give then nag permission.

Don't know what to say. You should try to find something interesting about anything that you are supposed to do. Try to make it as much fun as possible.

If you have procrastination problems about your goal planning on the other hand, you should try to find something in life that interests you then, go for it. Just do it.

Break your projects down into smaller steps. So if you're house needs cleaning, don't say to yourself "I'll never get this done..my whole house is a mess". You need to take it in smaller steps and say "today I'll clean off my dining room table". Or even smaller, "today I'll throw away all junk mail". Once you start seeing the small changes, you'll hopefully, get into a pattern for yourself.

Hope this helps.

Think of the pain in not doing it.If it is important enough to you there's got to be some kind of pain that you will have to face later if you don,t do it.Keep in mind though "HOW" important something is to you.Everything is a trade off.

I'll think on this and get back to you later -

j/k!!!

I think rewarding yourself for doing something in a timely manner is a good system.

Make a to-do list. Try to prioritize. It keeps you on track and focused.
