I was wondering when the movies take place, like between episodes _ and _, or if any of them are from AFTER the series had finished

well the first couple take palce during different seasons in the show because you see relationships as they are in show in different points but the last movie mystic is after the series it came out two years ago after the shows in japan ended in 2004 or 03.

Well I can say that Inuyasha takes places in the Tokugawa Jidai. There are references to oyoroi and Oda Nobunaga so it has to take place during the Tokugawa Jidai or made the one before it.

Well, wasn't really clearly stated when the 1st and 2nd movies were shown....1st thing, during the 137th episode entitled "The ancestor's name was Kagome", when Kagome met Houjou's ancestor at the feudal area, that was the first time she met him[houjou's ancestor].Obviously because Akitoki[Houjou's ancestor] doesn't recognize Kagome..2nd thing, on the 2nd movie, Houjou's ancestor[the same one] was there but it seems that it was also their first meeting...Pretty weird huh... c",)

aaahh.i'm thinking here,but mostly in japan.on cartoonetwork at night they some times show inu yasha.
