It depends on what you have done. The term "clutch" is a general item that could mean just the friction plate, or the friction plate and the release bearing, or the "kit" which includes the first two items plus the pressure plate.

If you have a local garage/mechanic you can rely on, the parts "the kit", should cost around £60 to £75 including vat, labour would be around £70 to £80, plus vat, but if you are unsure where to go, you can get quotes from Clutch centres etc.

If the clutch is "slipping", you will need to get it done soon, otherwise it can cause damage the flywheel.

Hope that helps

I got the price for a 2004 Ford Focus 4 cylinder. Clutch $276, flywheel $60 and the price when you look at your empty wallet, priceless. lol

The Fiesta is a Mexican model (imported from Mexico) but the price in the US would be about the same. Labor would run $100 for the small shops. I know the dealer would be really expensive. But you can call them and they can tell you exactly what it would cost.

hi there, the price of the complete clutch kit (clutch plate, preasure plate and thrust bearing) is £89 and labour cost shouldn't be no more than £120, its not the easiest of clutch's to do but its still not rocket science, shop around for quotes and dont get ripped off, Gary (Oswestry)

it all depends on were you take it to. a new clutch kit cost abnout £120 - £140 but they don't take long to fit and if the garage you take it to say's it going to take longer than 3 - 4 hours go somewhere else.

there just trying to rip you off...
