Just be yourself! I've had a similar experience and basically I just went with the flow and tried to grasp all the info that was thrown at me.
Also, if you have a jittery stomach, coffee helped me settle down a bit:)
GOOD LUCK!

Just think of it as a reward to go back to work....it's no different than things like you've went through before. First day of school meeting new teachers and friends. Or the first day after your baby arrived how it had needs and that you met those challenges. Meeting your oldest friend for the very first time..odd at first but now how much of a role they play in your life. It'll just take some getting used to again..like if you're on your feet for 8 hours, you'll have some discomfort but it'll get better. Point is you can overcome anything and there's nothing to be jittery about. You're not the first one and won't be the last. You can do it and Good Luck w/your job! G.

They hired you so they liked what they saw. Totally normal , don't get to upset that you are feeling that way . Do a dry run tomorrow on getting to the job so you feel confident on getting there on time or even better early. Just be yourself and do not be afraid to ask about anything you are not sure about. I am only guessing ,but since you have not worked in a bit you may have to switch up some of your sleeping patterns , start tonight get those 8 hours in. I always found a little morning fooling around relaxed me a bit when my season starts , I move from one location to another so seasonally so I get that nervous feeling a few times a year . You will be fine and good luck , all the best. TC messtograves

Sam,
What you do is ask for a list of duties and objectives, person(s) you can turn to for help and where the bathroom is!
It's perfectly natural to feel nervous when starting a new job. The best step is to ask for a description of your duties and what objectives the manager has for you in the short term. This shows a desire to satisfy your manager. Also, ask which coworkers are the best for help. There's nothing a manager hates than a new employee who sits idle, unsure of what to do. That equates to lost productivity! Appear busy and when in doubt ask someone for help. And maybe ask where the bathroom is (that always helps!)

you really can't. the worst part is before you go in dear. once you actually walk in the "office" and "get down to business" you will relax and feel alot better.
Congratulations!! in general most will welcome you.....
