i'm in my mid-20's and getting slightly paranoid about my dry skin.. its not as elastic as before (my age is showing). is it also hypoallergenic?

You may want to try epinions.com or amazon.com about this. I have looked up everything from diet stuff to lotions to videos to books on there. It's a star rating and user reviews towards the bottom of every item's page. It's great.

it's worked for me. Definitely around the thigh/butt area. I was skeptical at first, but I've been using it for a few months now and it seems to be working.

I guess it works, but it smells disgusting. It smelled like rotten eggs and bananas mixed together. I would use Jergens.
