How do you remove red nail polish from your nails I mean all over, because every time I use it, it stays a bit of a polish on my nails or they stay pink a few more days. Do you guys have any ideas????

Use acetone. Its better than nail polish remover. And if you go to nail salons and your nails are painted, they use acetone to remove it.

First of all, make sure that you are using a base coat, it will keep the color from seeping into your nails, and also help it to stick much better.

Use a nail polish remover that has a jar containing a sponge with a finger hole, these seem to do a much better job of removing stubborn polish, as you can allow you nail to soak in it for a few seconds.. I recommend at least a 10 second soak per nail for a stubborn color like red.

This will also remove the color from the surrounding skin and cuticle, rather than using a cotton ball, which tends to smear polish better than removing it. Use a polish remover with moisturizers too, and / or apply a good hand and nail lotion before you re-apply your polish.

I'm sure this will help you, as it has helped me.

Instead of puttin remover on a cotten wool pad and doin all that wipeing, put some nail polish remover in a shallow dish then soak your finger tips/nails in it for about 3mins then use a cotten bud to remove it. Repeat untill all nail polish is removed then tip the remover back into the bottle (it saves on wasteage).

I would also recomend a change in polish by the sounds of it the dye in the colour your unsing is too harsh and could be damaging your nails, if you don't want to switch brand try finding a similar colour in a cheaper brand and use that to paint an undercoat.

Your Welcome

If you don't want to use acetone (since it is pretty harsh around the surrounding skin), you can use a mixture of mouthwash, liquid soap and warm water. Just let your hands soak in there for about 5 - 10 minutes. It removes dead skin too!

Cutex will remove polish very well. You can find it at almost any store (drug or supermarket).
