Would like to know wat is the difference in these two subjects. Are they very important subject to go to J.C. M veri worried as i am taking 'O' level as a private candidate this year. M 16+ now and did only 'N" level last year. Couldnt do "O
" level in school because of more than 1 point only. I know i would have done well if not for my medical condition last year. Please help me if you know the answer. Thank you

The SAT has ten sections, three reading, three math, three writing, and one experimental which is disguised as a regular section. The ACT has four sections: English, Math, Reading, and Science. On certain dates, an experimental section is added; this section is made clear as experimental.
SAT math goes to basic geometry and to Algebra II. ACT math goes up to trigonometry.
SAT reading consists of reading comprehension and sentence completion. ACT reading consists of four passages, one each of Prose Fiction, Social Science, Humanities, and Natural Science.
SAT writing includes an essay, and questions that test grammar, word usage, and word choice. ACT English stresses grammar. An essay on the ACT is optional.
ACT science includes charts and experiments. There is no science section on the SAT.
The SAT penalizes wrong answers; the ACT doesn't.
The highest possible SAT score is a 2400, the lowest a 600 (200-800 per section). Each ACT section receives a score of 1-36, and these scores are averaged for a composite score.
On the SAT, all scores are sent to schools. On the ACT, you can choose specific test scores to send out.

i thnk that the act is more like reading and english based and the sat is more math related
