Would it be a good idea for him to resign with the Rams he visited with them and has said that he would love to play back in St.Louis again.

Winstrom is a pretty consistant performer on the field. If I recall, the Rams struggled against the run last year. So, if they can pick him up for a reasonable price (without taking a huge hit against the salary cap), I would say yes. It can only help their team.

From his performance in Seattle it looked like the Rams originally got rid of him at the right time.

rams need help on D, so if they can afford it, sure. but other teams will be in the race.
