I always return the cart to the cart holders in the parking lot.
Anyone who doesn't return their cart is just plain lazy!

I do if I'm close to the building and weather permitting. Most stores have a cart corral, I usually put mine there.

I do if there are no cart corrals.
I never leave it out in the middle of the parking lot though.

If im in the mood, i put with the other carts that are being collected.
Depends on how far i have to walk to do that
