it was a video .some reason i right click and the option for delete does not come up like every other file i have. only play and send to. nothing works . i press deleate or play and nothing happens. I shut off every application that was running in the task manager to make sure nothin was using it, i reboted . I tried it in safe mode. I tried quarenteeneing it with my McAfee anti virus softwear, buit i get the message " not a valid file name " i tried to deleate from a command prompt but that doesnt show the file when i list it.
there are 2 files like that in my limewire folder and they been there for a couple weeks and i realised that might be the reason that i wake up at night because for some odd reason my laptop ( wich goes into sleep mode when you close the lid) suddenly comes out of hybernation and will run realy slow untill i restart it . I have a feeling its a trojan but scans dont detect it and i cant get rid of it. Do i have to reformat a hard drive of a brand new computer?

also i cannot rename it and i cannot deleate the folder it is in. when i try liek everyhitng else , nothing happens.. no messages nothin.

Try to delete it with the free "Unlocker" software - just search for "Unlocker" on Google - download it and it should work then...
