Yep Tommy Boyd has to be right there at the top! Of course Michaela Straken has gone on to the BBC now and the less said about Timmy Mallet the better, but Tommy was no doubt the best!
Oh and they don't have kids shows on in the afternoon anymore because they have their own channel and as most people have access to that and more they just weren't getting the viewers.

Most likely because kids don't watch it anymore. With the introduction of cable/sky TV I guess a lot of kids watch the programmes on channels such as Diney. The BBC on the otherhand carry on showing kids TV shows because even though BBC1 might not get so many viewers as the cable/sky networks they are obliged to produced programmes aimed at a variey of audiences since they receive all the TV license money.

I think it was partly due to some whining about junk food advertising, apparently without that they can't show the programmes. Either that or they just don't like people who don't live in a Freeview area...
Oh, and apparently Timmy Mallett will be doing something on Five soon.

Because they have the CITV channel instead. I liked Neil Buchannen and Gaby Roslin when they did Motor Mouth.

They have a a channel and most people have either sky/freeview or similar so they dont need it any more.
