i was shopping and saw a very nice jacket in one of the shops' windows. i stopped and entered the boutique which was small, very determined to buy the jacket beause i really wanted it. but was astonished to see that the shop keeper whose face was quite familiar but couldn't fix up the true identity seemed not eager to make me buy it instead, he invited to follow him and opened a door i thought was that of the fitting room but to my biggest surprise found myself into a big theater, he invited me to take a seat and disappeared at once. i was sitting among actors and actresses wondering what the hell was doing there. i was still thinking of the jacket and felt very frustrated in the dream and i woke up.

Shopping classically means you are trying to buy the attention of others.

The invite to a theatre full of actors and actresses may enhance this theory or may show you are wishing to buy your way into a pleasure (as actors/actresses in dream portray pleasure) or indeed make short-cuts to a new characteristics you are looking for in yourself.

What does a jacket represent to you? if it was for keeping you warm then perhaps what you seek is comfort, you are familiar with what this is about (the familiar face is part of you) but perhaps you need to be shown (hence the theatre) perhaps - the actors and actresses are people around you that are playing a role in your life that perhaps you don't quite feel part of, hence the need for comfort. It also helps if I know how old you are in the dream and the feeling you got when you woke? If it was (and I'm assuming) frustration - then you'll need to look at what it is that you are frustrated about. Another thing of relevance is the colour of the jacket. You can go back into the dream and imagine yourself asking the shopkeeper why he is taking you to the theatre.

Wanting to buy the jacket may mean that you are trying to get or achieve something that you really want. The fact the shopkeeper, who seems familiar, did not want to seel you the jacker, may indicate that someone is perhaps holding you back. Perhaps family, a child, a friend, a boss etc.
Sitting with the actors and wondering why you were there would indicate that you are not comfortable in your current situation and feel that you do not beling or fit in. And the fact that you were still thinking of the jacket would suggest that, whilst everyone else wants you to fit in, you are yearning for more.

Perhaps dreams are triggered by subconscious needs and stitched together with bits and pieces of the days events... putting on clothing suggests the need to transform, or change the way we appear. The shop owner was familiar, and the clothing was limited may seem to suggest that you have a need to change how people see you but you're only comfortable accomodating others to a limited degree- you want to stay yourself... the scene change to a large theater, with many actors, may be your belief that "all the world's a stage" and most of us play out roles that are designed to please others... and that understandably makes you uncomfortable. Again Shakespeare: "Be true to yourself, and it shall follow as night the day, thou cans't be false to no man."

You are aimless and have a lot of wishes. You are unable to attain them. There is no help coming as expected by you.You are not able to communicate in the middle of famous people/actors and find out a way. When you are having big opportunities you are still looking for a small objective.it means you have to deverlop communication skills and look for better opportunities.
