Sometimes your body and its hormones still wants to have a period and you will get cramping, you may look back at your calendar and see the first few months of the pregnancy these cramps and sometimes even spotting come when you should have been having a real period. I also barely even kept down water with my last pregnancy (twins at 37 yrs old, yikes!). Hang in there, try to eat and drink and if you truly find you can't let your Dr. know, you don't want to dehydrate.

Hey I had the same problem. That went on for me for about the first 4 months then after that it stopped and I was eating all of the time. I had pains in my stomach also and the doctor told me it was normal to have these types of pains. However, everyone body is different and maybe you should ask your doctor to check it out just to make sure that nothing is wrong. As far as the food thing goes I had the problem throughout my whole pregnancy so that is a common problem I think.

I had cramps off and on my whole pregnancy.. My doctor seemed to thing all was well..
I also struggled with eating off and on.. There were times I couldnt stand the sight, smell, or taste of anything. It was hard to find something I could tolerate.. Then at other times, I was an eating machine.. I guess the hormonal fluxes cause this.. Just make sure your doctor is aware of everything.. Keep a little tiny notebook in your purse and write down things like this, times of day when cramps hit, length of time, how hard or soft they are and then bring this with you in your next visit.. Dont be afraid to discuss anything. and I mean anything with your doctor, he cant read your mind. I always had a checklist of questions in each my visit.. goodluck! Im sure you will be fine

Don't worry, as long as your taking prenatal vitamins daily, drinking water, gatorade and juice, if your body can handle juice, i couldn't for the first two trimesters. Eat as healthy as you can when you can handle food. Less greasy the better!
As for the cramps it's normal. I'm 36 weeks and still have them time from time. I think the most time when i feel them i have to use the bathroom other times it's just being pregnant period.
If the cramps are too uncomfortable make sure to bring it up at your next doc appointment.

i cant relate to the cramps, but plenty of people on here say its normal so i wouldnt worry too much - but call midwife/doc just to be sure sweetie. As for food, i cant find anything i like eating (and I usually love food!) - everything smells funny and some things taste funny. Completely off food! It was same with my first pregnancy.

It's normal to have cramps and be put off by the sight of food during the first few weeks of pregnancy. Don't worry. Good luck in your pregnancy!
