I give the girls 2 hours each, they take turns. I am the last one to get it about 10:00 p.m. at night. Do you think this is right? They still fight over it and on weekends they are waiting in line to get on it when I am on there? How would you solve this?

You're the mom, assert yourself. I know, easier said than done. They need other things to do. I had to shut the 'puter off for an entire weekend because of the disconnection it was causing in my household. We all did stuff together all weekend. It was great. Maybe the girls need time with Mom?

Tell them to get a job and get their own. My computer is mine and some things I don't like to share. I let my son on mine a few times and ended up with a virus. You don't owe them computer time unless they have a report for school that needs some research. I'm tired of kids thinking we owe them privileges.

Mom should be able to use it whenever she wants. The children should have a schedule. It may even be a reward for doing their chores.

start using the computer as a privilige for doing something good such as good grades, etc. tell them your sick of the fighting and the solution is the more they fight over it, the more YOU get to be on it.

use this as an advantage to discipline your girls..good grades or house chores will be rewarded with the use of your PC. once you get this organized, you will be amazed by the outcome.
