I went to McD's yesterday and asked if they had the Shamrock Shake out yet. The girl said , um no. and I asked when they were getting it and she said this is the first I've heard of it. After talking to someone who knew what they were talking about (the manager) she came back and said they did away with them this year!! I'm wondering if it was just this local McDonald's or nationwide. Has anyone else been able to get it at their McDonald's?

There's NO SHAMROCK SHAKE???? How rude!!! They should be ashamed of themselves!!!! I will now boycott McD's (of course I used to only go there for their shakes anyways) I spit on them ptchu

It's a sad day if McDonald's isn't going to serve Shamrock Shakes anymore! I'll check in my town to see if it's the same news here.

are not getting THE SHAMROCK SHAKE!!!!!!!!!! I hated it! It tastes terrible and that's green. purely pass with the chocolate shake you will no longer be apologetic approximately your determination. Please are not getting the shamrock shake. that's the worst milkshake i've got ever had in my existence.

i think that was a pretty isolated event. i've never heard of the shamrock shake...ever. it sounds wicked awesome though. more places should do stuff like that.
this could just be a wild guess, but it could have been the idea of just a single mcdonalds or maybe a colaboration of mcdonalds in the area to make them. i dunno. i gotta ask the mcdonalds i go to if they do shamrock shakes

i live in Pa. and I had one at the end of Feb. try to contact the McDonald's Corporate offices.
Also Here's a recipe for one that taste just like it.
A scoop or 2 ( depending on the size shake you want to make of choc. chip mint ice cream. Add milk. Mix in blender until you get the thickness you want.Place in large glass and enjoy!

I live in Michigan and we have the shake. but you have to remember that not all McDonald's are owned by the same person. different franchises have different foods drinks etc. It all depends on the owner. Maybe check out a couple different McDonald's in your area you might find one.
