i have FMLA it covers me while i am pregnant so if i have to call out because i am vommiting then my job is safe as long as i have a doctors note. i really dont think they can fire you as long as you bring notes and things like that. look into FMLA though.

Constipation and gas are very common in early pregnancy due to the extra progesterone your body produces in the first trimester. Call your OB and find out what you can take to help alleviate the gas and constipation. I believe their are OTC medications you can take while pregnant. Also, I just read that morning sickness is a condition of pregnancy and therefore, you cannot be fired from your job because of it. I'm not sure if you would need a note from your doctor, but it's worth getting one. If home remedies, such as crackers or ginger aren't helping with the morning sickness, ask your doctor if there is any medication that you can take for it. Best of luck to you.

I found that if my stomache is empty, I feel sick. So I'm always snacking. You may even want to have some crackers next to your bed so you can get something in you before you get up. Having poo problems is normal for pregnancy too. I bought some fiber powder (Benefiber) that you can sprinkle into anything you eat. You can't even taste it. Fiber helps to make it softer. Prescription prenatal vitamins tend to have extra stuff in them to help with that problem too. Until you start taking it, you may need to drink some hot tea and go for a walk to help loosen it up. It sucks, though, I know. Definalty get the fiber. I have been much better since. Eating fruit and veg is a natural way to get more fiber.

Hope you feel better! In a few weeks you will be done with your first trimester, and usually the morning sickness goes away. But keep up with the fiber.

Ask your Dr. he/she will know best. The nurse who taught our birthing class said to get some papaya tablets for heartburn. Good luck.

I feel bad for you for having to go through so much pain and the condition you are put into due to this.
ask your doctor and please dont take papaiya tablet without your doctors concent as my doctor specifically asked me not to eat papaiya as it has abortion properties. ( may be its fine to use it at later stage but at early stage it could be dangerous, i guess)
Good Luck and God bless!!!
