I just checked their official website http://cricketworldcup.indya.com/event/tickets.htm - they hosted it on indya.com which is an India-based domain. Moreover, there are too many "cheer India" adverts right on the official webpage.
All television channels will be full of "cheer India" advertisements during the World Cup - I understand that it's a country where cricket is next to religion but, since it's a world cup we need to be very "neutral" about the game - people across the world are watching it and they would want to cheer their own teams - the English would cheer England - in fact I have an Irish friend who said he's going to watch all Ireland matches even though their chances are next to none.
Granted, the country India provides the bulk of sponsorship revenue for this month long event, most Indian cricketers are far richer than any other nation (that's the reason they never like to play) - all other teams should be given an equal, neutral chance for this event.
