Absolutely.

Especially if it involves conflict, it is for to teach us how to correct some qualities of our personality. If we do not take the chance to be taught, then this lesson reoccurs often and often until we "wake up" and see the point of the lesson.

All relations help us to grow emotionally and spiritually if we only are brave enough to take the chance.

No doubt about it! People who are subconsciously scared of commitment get those significant others who will NEVER get married, if you need attention all to yourself you date someone who will be all about you and you alone - even if it's annoying, and if you like to be challenged, you;ll date someone with lots of drama! The point is you need to look inside and find out what you are really looking for in friends and companions and open lines of communication to make sure you're on the same page!

I'm not sure if we do it or if God (as you define God) does it for us. It seems we meet people who we need to help us or we need to help. Many times it seems to happen right "on time". I do believe we can have a psychological pattern that can cause us to push people away or draw people that are wrong for us. But I also think that we are attracted to certain people, just because we are. If it is psychological, it's very deep and we may never understand why chemistry between people exists. It just does.
