my sister in law is having pregnancy (38 days) (she had taken the treatment of iui) at the time of scanning we couldn't able to know about the hearbeat or any action of the baby. the dr told us that in 60 or 70th day only we can hear the babys' heartbeat.
is it correct or not?

Your sister in laws baby's heart starting to be about 3 weeks after conception- but normally it is not possible to hear a heart beat until about 8-10 weeks. Your dr. is correct. She is just about 5 weeks preg. so I would not be concerned. I counsel at a pregnancy help clinic and they do ultrasounds- and normally as I said, 38 days would be to early to hear the heartbeat, even though the baby's heart is beating by then.

It has a heart beat but it isnt strong enough to be picked up yet. I doubt the dr would lie to your sister in law. I didnt hear my sons heartbeat until I was 13 weeks pregnant most hear it around 8-10 weeks which would be 56-70 days.
