No I don't think so. The things that are protected are necessary in most cases....such as a question last night suggesting pedophilia which I reported.

ive only been on answers about 2 weeks and i already received a violation b/c i answered a stupid question with a stupid answer..i was surprised to see the person who asked the question reported me since they "opened the door"...all i responded was that it was a stupid question..which it was...i didnt directly attack the user or anything...so yeah, i think they are a bit over protective

I am not sure it is Yahoo...I think it is more the people who are answering questions....too many people who are too serious about things that are supposed to be funny and mean spirited towards people who ask serious questions....too many people reporting us for nothing and too many people giving inappropriate thumbs down.....
