Its BETTER than I thought! :) Im so glad God gave me a husband to cherish and to be there with me everyday to walk through life with :) I love Him more than anything, and its so fun getting to know him better each day!
Marriage has its ups and downs, but the Downs shouldnt reflect your marriage or get in the way, they should be stepping tools to a better marriage! :) Communication.

Marriage can be great if you have 2 people working on the same goal together (ie if you both want it to be great than it will be great).
Marriage is not so great when one or the other or both start exhibiting selfish behavior, taking each other for granted, or any of the many, many ways people choose to screw things up.
Also, I cannot stress enough that if you don't really KNOW the person you are marrying you have no idea of how much pain you can end up in in the end.

Unfortunately its alot "harder" then i ever imagined.. doesnt mean i dont love him, its just been a very bumpy start.. its nothing like i thought it would be, or thought i was getting into.. but at the same time we love each other very much and are trying to work through our problems in hopes of them eventually rectifying.. And it would go alot smoother if his psychotic ex wife would fall off the face of the planet.. but thats not going to happen , so we are trying to just deal with her insanity..

I really don't think I had any specific expectations when we first got married. We've been together 36 years, and I'm very happy with our relationship.

Better, my husband is my best friend and the best thing is that we constantly make each other laugh. My husband is the greatest guy in the world, and I am the luckiest woman in the world to be married to him.
