Hi there,
First of all congratulations on your pregnancy, sorry your having a rough time but it is a sign of a healthy pregnany (so they say) so keep this in mind you'll get through it. Each pregnancy can be so different so its hard to guess the sex from this plus us women have a way of blocking out a lot of the bad stuff from previous pregnancies!!!!!and I'm sure you would love a girl which can put these thoughts in your head I remember feeling like that on my third pregnancy (like you having already had two boys) I was sure I was having a girl I had myself convinced of it but it was another boy but I did go on to have a little girl two and a half years later. I would say my first two pregnancies were really hard going with terrible morning sickness which kicked in at six weeks then miracously disapeard at fourteen weeks. My third was fine up untill about ten weeks and then I had morning sickness but mainly in the evenings oddly enough and it lasted up to about the half way mark I remember feeling exhausted all the time that was my hardest pregnancy. My FINAL pregnancy I actually only realised I was pregnant at ten weeks which was a total shock as I knew with all the others very early I at this stage put the easy pregnancy down to luck but at 39 weeks I had my beautiful 8lb daughter so its a hard one to call really. I was the opposite to you having sickness on all my boys and none on my girl. Either way I wish you a strong healthy baby be he boy or be she girl.

I am currently at the end of my 2nd pregnancy (6 days past due date actually) and this one has been murder compared with my first. My first child is a girl and I experienced all day - every day morning sickness and bad heart burn toward the end... which seemed bad enough... But with this 2nd pregnancy, the baby is a boy and the whole pregnancy has been nothing but complications and pain. I've had high blood pressure, over active thyroid, bladder infection, painful braxton hicks contractions, swollen ankles and many more problems.

I'm not sure if the child's sex has anything to do with it, but this pregnancy is a whole new, and painful, experience compared with my 1st.

It could be a girl. my first 2 babies were girls and my pregnancies were very difficult. I was always sick and my back ached all the time but my third baby was a boy and that pregnancy was great, I never got sick and my back pain wasn't as bad.

I have 3 boys & i was sick with all of them but not to the extent I was with my fourth!
Repeatedly hospitalised & generally bed-ridden, so unable to be any kind of mother to my boys which was the worst thing ever.
It started at 5 weeks & when it didnt ease by 17 weeks, i became so depressed I even contemplated aborting!!! And i dont believe in it! But thats how desperate I was.

Anyway, somehow, I stuck it out & the nausea/sickness became less frequent & stopped altogether at about 25/26 weeks!
AND YES....IT WAS A GIRL!!! (3 weeks early too)

Hi, I am also pregnant with my 3rd child. Both were girls and I was so sick and miserable. This pregnancy I feel GREAT, I don't find out until next week what I'm having but from everything I've heard from other people boy pregnancies are much easier than girls. Everyone I know who had girls say they're pregnancies were much more difficult than boys! Good Luck!!
