I have a friend who contracted syphillies but he only found out at a later stage. Athough it will be eventually cured but it takes time. Recently he is in love with a sex partner and the sex partner wants to date him.

Should him tell his date about his condition? He has told his other sex partners and they have all left him. Should he risk loosing his goingto be boyfriend?

If his sex partner really loves him back, then he'll be okay with it. Especially with how easily it can be taken care of compared to other STDs...excuse me, STIs. -_-

He should really tell him. How long does it take to cure?

Even if it's as long as 6-12 months, maybe he should bite the bullet, not date until it's cured and then he can date without worry.

If it's you, do the right thing, what would you want if you were the "other partner". If it is not you, keep your damned nose out other people's business.

It will be irresponsible not to. Your friend does not have any right to engage in any physical contact until he is free of any contageous disease may it be sexually transmitted or otherwise.
