guess the answerer above me found the same newspaper article like I did, where it's written:

.........when the hotel is reopened at the end of the year after a complete refurbishment.

But this article is dated 22.11.2006 - means at the end of 2006.

Official closing of the hotel is/was: 15.4.2006 - 1.11.2006

Online reservation bookings are availabe from the end of April 2007. (tried it)

If you do not get a satifying answer, email me. I planed to go there within the next couple days anyway and get a membership coz this hotel has one of the nicest beaches of Abu Dhabi.
