Bead, potatoes, rice, pasta, sugar, & some dairy products. Don't " cut them out," though. Use in moderation. A good rule of thumb is to eat carbs in 1/2 cup servings, and no seconds. You will get used to it. Read labels. Keep score. Try not to eat more than 60 grams a day. There are food with no carbs and you can usually eat all of these you want. Stick to it and good luck.

Cut out sugar, cut back on simple carbs like white bread and pasta, and replace the simple carbs with complex carbs like whole wheat bread or pasta, brown rice, and shredded wheat.

You will need some Beano, 'cos complex carbs will give you gas until your body gets used to it.

Making this switch will keep you from getting hungry, will keep your blood sugar stable, and will give you more energy.

do not eat refined carbs such as potatoes, white bread, or white rice, pasta, or any of the breakfast bars or cereal with high amounts of sugar. Do eat a lot to brown rice, whole wheat breads, whole wheat pasta and whole wheat cereals. They have a lot of fiber in them to help you lose weight. Oatmeal helps too.

You should cut out all the junk food: chips, donuts, candy, soda. Stop eating bread, rice, pasta, potatoes. Instead eat more protein: chicken, fish, eggs, cheese. You can eat beef once in a while. Eat veggies, salad, limit your salad dressing to 2 TBSP. I have been doing this and so far I have lost 51 lbs.
