Oh, me too! 18 weeks along.

I use a body pillow at night. If your bed is near the wall or can be moved to the wall, the best relief I have found is to put the body on the wall and then lie with your back against the pillow. This provides extra support and comforts the spine.

I know exactly what you're talking about!!! I'm 19 weeks aswell. You might not have noticed, but our backs are starting to curve. A back rub always helps me, but I usually can't get one for half as long as I'd like. lol I know a physical therapy clinic in my area is having a class for pregnant women. Its "learning improved ways to move/protect the lower back before and after pregnancy." You might try calling some clinics in your area. If you find any home remedies that work...let me know!!!!!

this sounds very much like what happened in my first pregnancy same time of pregnancy too. i eventually found out that my baby (who turned out to be a boy) was sticking his foot into my right ureter (it is the tube that joins the kidney to the bladder) this was causing my back to spasm. by the time the doctor figured out what was happening my son stopped doing it. for me that took about a month. in this time i spend it sleeping on the floor with a hot water bottle. goodluck i hope it goes away soon

your best bet is to see your doctor, they are the experts, you should know by now that you dont take chances, no matter what
