okay so im not going today and i get a ride from my friend and my mom leaves before i do.. actually already left. so im going to call her at 8 and say what exactly? I need a good excuse. help me out.
btw. dont be lame and tell me i have to go to school missing one day isnt going to do anything.

Personally, I think it is wrong for you to decide to stay home AFTER your mother has left. Your mother trusts that you get up, get ready for school, and then GO to school. Because you made this decision on your own without discussing it with her, I would make other arrangements for getting you to school. You will have proven to me that you cant handle the responsibility. It isnt about you wanting to stay home, because everyone needs a break every once in a while. It is the way you did it.
Good thing I am not your mother and I refuse to aide you in trying to explain why you are staying home.

Trust is a hard thing to gain back once its lost.
I used to allow my kids a day off every once in a while. Now that we homeschool, I still do.
