A life is a unit in an Atma's (Soul's) journey towards realization or assimilation of soul into Existence (God). A soul may go through many lives to come to union with SuperSelf (Paramatma). In each life you gain a little momentum in your journey. As there is abundance of lives it is immaterial whether it is long or short because you can start all over again.
And even if Earth's life ends the journey of soul will continue on some other place, existence is not merely this Solar system.

No. If you have a strong will, you can accomplish whatever you want to. Maybe people waste a lot of time figuring out what they are here for and that makes their life time too short.

I believe that for some it is. It depends on how far in life you've gotten before you realize what your purpose was, but for those who got a clue from the beginning than that person is fortunate enough to probably accomplish everything he or she wanted to in life.

I don't. The problem is when you don't know what you want to accomplish, then you waste a lot of time on things that don't really matter. So it's not the length of time but the time we waste that needs to be addressed.

I don't think it's short. But the problem is we waste our time with other materialsitc affairs and by the time realize the purpose of our life, we are out of time resources.
All the best...

Absolutely not. We are not here to accomplish anything. All humans will be dead someday, perhaps in 1,000 years, perhaps 10,000. What will we have accomplished by that point and what will it have meant? Absolutely nothing.

I think that's the point. We don't have 200 years to make an impression on the world. We have to do it now, or never.

That depends on what you think that you are here for.
I think that our true goal here is only to change our minds. That only takes a second.
