Women are impossible to please
If you volunteered she'd say you only did it because you want something

Women are complicated. Maybe you should take an extra moment to do something everyday that you think would help her out, resulting in her nagging less, you being happier. If you take the inititive to do something nice for your wife, trust me you will be rewarded in the end.

Sounds to me like she may want to see you do stuff that shows you love her "just because." I know just simple things like a thank you note from my kids to little gifts (I mean little, like a candy bar) from my hubby make me happier than him finishing a list of honey does. It makes you feel like you have been thought off without having to do anything to gain the attention.

If you are a reader, there is a great book for relationships called "The Five Love Languages." It has been a big help for couples understanding how to relate to each other.

Hope that helps a little, Good luck in your relationship.

Just how many times does she have to ask you to do something for her? If it's once(which I doubt) that's not nagging.

Like the movie....she doesn't want you to do the dishes so much as understanding that doing the dishes is not her job....it's a family job and you should be more observant of that fact.

As a woman that's my opinion.

she wants you to take note of what she likes and do things without being asked, spontaneously.

how would you like to have to nag her to do something you like and eventually have her say "well ok" and do it reluctantly, and then never again unless you ask? (and this applies to anything)

Ever seen the break up? (I guess not because it's the lamest movie ever)
I liked the scene where the girlfriend says: "It's not about the dishes, I want you to want to do the dishes"
WTF? But it's soemthing girls do when they feel undervalued or underappreciated. They want you to be involved and to be happy about it because it's your house or your car too.
But it can get irritating.

No...so long as it gets done, I don't care if I had to ask him to do it. It is nice though when he does something even if I didn't ask him too...and those things get extra praise.

If I ever do this to my husband he will turn me over his knee and spank my bare bottom very soundly, but then that leads to such great sex afterwards, so why don't you try that and see.
