When ever things get wrong we run to quote to the bible.I dont think there is anyone to judge someone, As THE GOD SAID IN THE BIBLE. We as people have no right to tell what is wrong by God and what is right. our job is to make God happy about us. Yes i agree with whoever says God created the man and the women to help each other in whatever situation is, but that doesn't mean we have a right to discriminate other people just because of their sexual thing because the person who do created them is the one who created you, so i think God has a reason of making them gays because he always have some purpose in his creation. I AM NOT GAY but that doesn't mean we must fight their marriage right because a man(woman) cant stand for the voilence of the other man he will fight back, Then we will see if God was really the cause of this same sex thing

YES!!! I do not think anyone should be able to restrict the relationship of anyone else just because they don't agree. Love is Love. A person can't help who they fall in love with. Why should one be persecuted by society and made to live in secret or shame just because that someone special in their lives isn't the person everyone else thinks it should be? Would you like to be told who to love?

yep.

we spend too much time concerned with how others live their lives.

divorce rates are well over 50% so why should anyone talk about protecting the sanctity of marriage when it has just turned into a ritual of empty promises.

Live and let live.

I think that the whole concept of marriage should be a personal, not a government concern. Instead of pushing for gays to be able to marry, we should be pushing for civil unions for everybody. The only involvement the government should have is issues of child responsibility, property division, and other contractual issues.

Christians keep whining about how laws are being pushed to "change marriage". I agree with them. Let's just remove marriage completely from the government books and let people define it as their personal beliefs dictate.

Of course! Everybody is equal, EVERYBODY! There should NEVER be any kind of law that takes opportunity away from one while offering to others. That's discrimination and that equals hate.

Plus, if my brother ever is "allowed" to marry, my a** is going back to law school to be a divorce attorney! He'd be married more times than Liz Taylor!

Well they're already legal here in Canada, have been for a few years and guess what? The world didn't end, people didn't start marrying their pets, babies are still being made, God has not smote us, we are in fact thriving.........

Ok, I admit it, my answer is an 'in your face' to all the moronic religious bigots who continue to decry something that in no way affects them.

Civil union would be fine... like being incorporated in a company, where they could join assets and inherit.
