At least you recognize this behavior and know that you can't continue. It's not good for your health and it would get you ahead in life.
Attend anger management classes to learn how to control yourself. And work on issues that you may be harboring from the past.

It is human nature to always want to be right, or do what they want. You get defensive first, then it builds into anger.
It won't go away easily but try these methods.
If you are discussing something with someone and they have a different opinion then you can say. "Let's agree to disagree"
That will automatically clear the air, and no one will get angry.
If it is something that the other person say's "I can prove I am correct" As hard as it might be say "o.k. I don't mind if you do".
What I am trying to being more passive about things that come up, the more often you do it then first of all it will prove to you and will see that the world didn't end by taking that attitude, and you will not only train yourself slowly to be that way, but you will also feel good about yourself. After a while it might take a couple of weeks, you will develop a calmer disposition.
If it has something to do with what you want to do and the other person doesn't then say "lets compromise"
Try these methods, you will be a changed person

yes, this is a common problem. My life is like this and i had to go to the doctor for some anti-depression tabs..and they seemed to really work as i was sleeping better and not getting annoyed at every little thing.
Then i let the prescription run out as it was for three months and now i am back to how i was before i took the meds..
I am going back to the Doctor for some more meds as life is to short to be mad all the time.
Maybe you can work out this depression without meds but sometimes we need a little extra help from a good doctor.
Good luck...plus try to stay away from people places and things that truly upset you. in the end we are our own worst enemy!

if you realize your have those traits, then its easier to stop.
i mean i know that counting thing seems lame, but it probably will help, if you really think before your about to explode..
just realize life is too short to be angry...
anger seems like a waste of energy to me

just try to roll with the punches and realise that most people arent out to make you angry . just try to treat people the way you want to be treated and expect the same in return dont be afraid to talk to friends and family about how you feel. good luck.

Seek out some counseling, and then resolve the issues that are obviously in the background. Good luck to you and God bless****
