The Dogma of the Christian Church I respect because it is the background of commonsense values and a belief in the rights of individuals but like many people I have difficulty understanding some of it's concepts.

Well, unlike many other religions - the christian doctrine or principles are understood by faith. Without faith, one cannot appreciate the things of God. In fact, it comes naturally to fight against them. And faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. That's the reason why you are having a 'difficulty/problem understanding some of it's concepts'. I am going to try to explain this concept of TRINITY, as it is often called. However, should you not be able to comprehend it, at least you know where the problem lies!

We have God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. This DOES NOT mean three Gods. It simply means three supreme beings sharing the same nature, character, essence, attributes, eminence/glory etc. These three are one in everything. All three, their beginnings cannot be traced nor their end known. They are perfectly in unison with each other. Their operations differ distinctly - but they never conflict with each other. The Holy Spirit and the Lord Jesus Christ wilfully submit to the Father - at other times the Holy Spirit and the Lord Jesus Christ do submit to one another, yet this submission does not mean neither one is less devine than the other nor one supreme.

If you read the gospel, you will find that the Lord Jesus often reffered to himself as the sent one by the father. When he was born on this earth, that was not the beginning of him. Before Abraham was, the Lord Jesus was long in existence. In fact, he even say this "before Abraham was I AM". Abraham was long dead when the Lord uttered this statement.

Ok here it is; ! God the father is an invisible spirit that fills all time and space. He is what scientist are just now discovering and are calling dark matter and it holds everything together and yet it is invisible. 2. So God this invisible spirit but all creative power in him he created the heavens, and they are a light kingdom made of his own body of dark matter, and he materialized heaven and created the angels and he had a kingdom where he was the king and so he manifested himself as Christ Jesus in heaven as a glorified God, it was him made into a tangible entity or different manifestation of himself. Now in this heaven 1 angel went bad and that was satan, so god destroyed the kingdom and created the earth and made man in his image and made a soul for each one, now he came as a man Jesus to tell us of his invisible kingdom that when you die you go back to were you were with him in the kingdom of light, heaven. Go read john 3 and acts 2 and get that holy spirit and this will be clear and then red john to the end of the book. Its all about God coming as Jesus by his invisible third person of the trinity the holy ghost! And there it is, all 3 are him with a different manifestation!

In the book of Genesis it tells us man was created "in God's image (see 1:28). Genesis 2:7 describes how God made man's 1) body from the elements of the earth, breathed into it the 2) spirit of life, and man became a living 3) soul. Man is a single being made up of three parts.

Each of those parts operates in a different realms. The body works in the physical realm, the soul in the mental realm of the mind, will and emotions, and the spirit in the spiritual or heavenly realm. The body touches physical things. The soul handles ideas. The spirit communicates with God.

Each is just as much "you" as any of the others. If one part was destroyed, the others would no longer function properly.

So God also touches each of the three realms. He is a nature or "being" in each. In the heavenly realm, he is God the Father. While he was physically on the earth, he was God the Son, and when he dwells in the hearts of men, he is God the Holy Spirit. Three "beings" which form a single God. Each just as much "God" as any of the others.

As man is made up of three parts, so God appears in each of the three realms ready to meet the needs of man in each of those areas.

The Holy Ghost or Spirit is You

Christian dogma is not the background of common sense values and individual rights. If it was cultures untouched by Christianity (eg inuits, maori etc) would have none of these concepts (which they do)
