I have a PC card with a 2M HD50 (high density sub-D) fully populated SCSI II. I would like an extension lead male to female HD50, to make the lead reach to 4-5 metres...

I am fully aware, that extending a SCSI lead beyond 3M violates SCSI specification.... In this instance, it is not being used as SCSI.. (it's actually a PC IO card that I am playing with, that the manufacturers use SCSI connectors on, just to be awkward!!!)

The lead needs to be fully populated, so taking the 50 way SCSI down to BD25, using a BD25 lead, then taking back up to HD50 IS NOT AN OPTION!!!

Pre-made are likely to be short for the reasons you state ... I guess you need a Custom Cable mfg's.

Below top few hits from Google ...

NB. I assume the PC IO card expect twisted pair connection ?
