Religion focuses around humans because religion is a human-made entity. Therefore, of course humankind will be at the centre! It was perhaps something that evolved with with our cognition on the evolutionary time scale. I'm sure if another species comes up with religion, they will be at the centre of it as well. Religion isn't 'deserved'. It's created.

During 1800s, Anthropologists had a problem as to how
to classify human beings. One researcher proposed the
expression "intelligent animal". After advanced studies
on monkeys, it was dropped. Another researcher proposed
"tool using animal". After observing some animals
making wooden tools and sharpening them with knife like
stones, it was dropped. Another researcher proposed
"weapon using animal". A decade ago, a rare film was
shot in African forests. One short monkey was hit very
badly by a big monkey. The short monkey prepared a
wooden knife using stones and hid it on the top of a
tree. After some days, when the big monkey came to
attack the short monkey, it ran up to the tree for the
weapon it has hid and killed the big monkey. The one
thing that the anthropologists found with any group of
human beings, even if they did not have contacts with
the out side world for thousands of years, is
spirituality with some form of religion. So, man is a
"spiritual animal" if you want to call him that way.

The Upanishads say that "Manush" (human) was so named
because he has "Manas" a mind higher than that of the
animals which realises the divinity in creation. It was
present since the creation of human beings. Religion is
the characteristic feature of most of the human beings.
It is as eternal and and as unchanging as the Almighty.
Disbelief by a few will not affect it.

History shows us that people have always been searching for purpose, why we are here, how we got here, who put us here. Animals don't think this way (as far as we know), they just eat, breath and mate. That's their purpose. Human brains have developed to think deeper. Maybe it's because God created us that way. Maybe we ar this way because God put a soul in us and it's our soul that is searching for God.

I see all of God's creation being special and equal, He created it all. But it's only mankind that He created in His image, with souls, with spirit. We can read the Bible, go to Church, pray. Animals and plants can't do that. Yet it's the animals and plants that simply just do what God created them to do. They don't try to be something they aren't, they don't have pride, envy, anger, they don't get jealous and feel the need to have more material possessions. They just simply want to live and reproduce. They that the simple life and are happy.

Our more developed brains get us in trouble. We have temptations around us and if we are weak, we give in and sin. Religion(s) give us something to focus on that is bigger than ourselves. A higher goal. A purpose. A reason. A truth. A hope. A future. An eternal life. There are many world religions. This has to show you that there is something out there that created it all. Every religion believes/claims their God/god is the real one. The argument is who is right. This argument has been going on for thousands of years and will probably will always go on. It's all about faith. There is nothing wrong with having faith. Unless you are an extremist, brainwashed into a cult and kill others in the name of your god. These are our terrorists. Other than these, I see world religions teach love.

Judaism teaches that all of us have an legal duty to help one yet another out. If somebody steals a loaf of bread, we are all at fault because of the fact we allowed him to bypass hungry. If a new child is on the line, we are all at fault because of the fact we've not stumbled on a thank you to help his/her mothers and fathers. maybe that's greater effective than we are able to do, so we are obliged to help abode the youngster and do what we are able to to maintain the trend from repeating. The word we use to talk approximately that's no longer 'charity' (charitos, grace), yet particularly 'rightness'. we don't supply of our time and money to earn grace, yet instead because of the fact it merely desires doing. that's that straightfoward. The optimal sort of giving is while neither the giver nor the recipient recognize one yet another's identity, permitting the recipient to maintain his/her dignity contained domestically. that's why there are lots of of quietly Jewish social provider businesses. The custom has yet another cool twist. to furnish tzedakah is to accomplish a mitzvah -- that's the two making the international a greater effective place by way of doing a good deed and satisfying a commandment. people who obtain are permitting others to accomplish this mitzvah and thereby share in it. The human tendency to look down on others much less fortunate is became on its ear. that's one occasion of ways the prepared collective know-how of religion could be for the perfect. the international is crammed with human beings in distinctive situations. it works perfect as quickly as all of us artwork mutually to get all people out of the narrow places. we could desire to talk for the era of generations to choose how. faith is without doubt one in all the few procedures of organizing ourselves that actual does that.

Why is religion focused on us humans? It is because we are the domination species. We need explanations. And until science could deliver them we needed occult - superstition and religion to fill the void. Now we do not need it.

Why are we the dominant species? It is because we have a highly developed language. As Einstein said - we all stand on the backs of giants. We do not have to repeat all the mistakes that our ancestors made. We do not have to re-invert everything.

Religion doesnt make us special. It makes us weak and codependant.
I supose and animal cant look at some freak occurance and name it god, they only see the need to survive from it, but does that really make them dumber?

Religion has caused nothing in humans but weakness. People are codependant on gods love, cant function normally without it. They refuse logic in its face, kill eachother for it.

Oh yes, we are SO special because we have that, and its clear that it makes us SO MUCH SMARTER.
