you have probably been attacked by spyware/adware. Download adaware and spytbot search and destroy to clean up the system. They are both available below and tips on how to protect in the future.

There is virus that can keep changing your homepage so make sure you are running a good virus protection.
Spybot and Superantispyware (I found this one extremely good) are both great free programs.

Another possible cause could be that you have downloaded a program, game or update that has changed your homepage to the one that supports that program (because you may have failed to uncheck the new homepage box when you were installing it)

Usually if your home page keeps changing, you are infected with a type of spyware referred to as a "browser hijacker". If you do a Google search on the web site that your browser keeps changing to, you will probably find specific instructions for clearing that specific hijacker.

You can also run a good spyware scanner or two (such as Skybot Seek&Destroy or Ad-aware SE - both free at http://download.com ) and hope they clear your system.

Some sites you visit will create a pop-up, trying to make you change your homepage to their site. You can, however, set your Internet Options to a single, unchanging website, such as Yahoo or Google. All you need to know is the URL, or the address of that site

(EX: http://yahoo.com for Yahoo.)
