Reaaly I want the code for getting through to Virgin Media (pressing # doen't work) but if you have any other codes to bypass the recorded messages and queues for other sercices would be appreciated.

i keep pressing 0 and eventually you doget a live person, because the system is made that way. also you could try not doing anything a say anything, that works on some systems also

First of all - they are not offshore at all - their centres are based at nottingham, manchester x2, newcastle, birmingham and glenrothes. Secondly - the best way to avoid getting through to the wrong person is by listening to what the automated service says, or else you will just get put back in a que. If you actually end up getting connected to a real person, it will inevitably be someone named Rajiv (although he'll tell you his name is "Bob") in Bangalore. Virgin offshored their call centre ages ago...

They don't want you to get through, they don't like complaint, so if you can't get through! they have no complaints!!
