The area of the room floor = length * width = 8*4 sq. m = 32 square meters

If a square meter of carpet costs 10 pounds
then 32 sq. m. of carpet will cost = 1= * 32 = 320 pounds.

hope that helps...

all d best!!!.

8 x 4 = 32 m²
32 x 10 = £320

first, solve for the area of the room floor
Area = length X width

based on the given:
length = 8 meters
width = 4 meters

by substitution

Area = 8 X 4
= 32 m^2

to get the cost multiply the area by the price per square meter

price = 32m^2(£10/m^2)
= £320
