If the person ringing me up is really nice and friendly I'd have to own up.

But if they were being really rude and stuff I'd just walk away. It's not my fault they can't count!

My maths not being up to the mark I cant make out for sure if I have been undercharged or not...so I quietly walk away after calculating mentally once or twice :)

i own up to it because honesty is the best policy. I mean what the point of getting away with a few measly buck or etc. I rather be proud of myself at doing something good then take the money and run and then feel bad about it

Owned up. A much better feeling than "stealing." Especially, when the poor clerk tells you that she would have had to pay out of her own pocket. She was old and tired and shouldn't have had to be on her feet at that age.

Well, it depends on the accused. If I don't like the accused, I'll walk away. If I like them, then I'll own up. That's terrible I know but at least I'm honest.
